2017 ICTSI Champion Tour –Malarayat Final Round Press Release

2017 ICTSI Champion Tour Ladies golf second stage at Mount Malarayat Golf Club in Lipa City, South of Philippines. Today (Mar.17) was the final round, no one could stop Hwang Ye-Nah and made 69 total 12-under-par 204, she won the tournament by 8 shots lead and rewarded US$15000.

Hwang won another title on LPGT since 2015, she also wrote down the lowest record 12-under-par at LPGT. Last record was 11-under-par by Harmie Constantino last July at Malarayat Ladies Classic, Hwang’s 8 shots lead also even the record of Constantino last win.

Amateur Saso Yuka played 66 today but still not close enough to tie or catch up excellent Hwang Ye-Nah, she played total 212 solo on the 2nd place. She had won two amateur champions in a row at ICTSI Champion Tour, last year she even won world teenager girls championship in Canada.

Chatpropa Siriprakob from Thailand played 70 total 3-under-par 213 at 3 place, but she will be rewarded second place prize money US$7500.

Princess Mary Superal made 71 total 215 ranked 4th. Hwang Min-Jeong from Korea had even par 216 ranked 5th.

Taiwan players Tzu-Han CHEN made 72 and Yu-Sang HOU made 75, both tied 11th by 7-over-par 223 which are best results among Taiwan players.

Amateur Yu-Chiang HOU made 76 and Pei-Wen Hwang made 76, total 226 tied 19th.

Tzu-Han CHEN indicated it was hard to have a great start in the first round due to strong wind, while having some adjustment over next two rounds better my irons and putts, made 72 in both rounds. She felt advanced in mental conditions compared to last year, no matter on the course or the living during tournaments, she could really enjoy the game and life.

As Taiwan best ranking player in this tournament, she would like to thank to her coach and sponsors helping her all along in every aspects. She will keep working for better score and rankings.

This is a 3 rounds 54 holes tournament, total prize money US$75000. The tournament is held for the third year by TLPGA and LPGT (Ladies Philippine Golf Tour). It’s 2017 TLPGA Tour’s third event and LPGT’s second event of the year.
