2017 ICTSI Champion Tour Ladies golf second stage at Mount Malarayat Golf Club in Lipa City, South of Philippines. Today (Mar.16) after second round, Hwang Ye-Nah still firing up by 69 and keep leading solo with 8 shots ahead, great chance for her to win the game.

Chatpropa Siriprakob from Thailand had 6 birdies and 2 bogeys 68 which was the lowest score of the day, total 143 and 8 shots behind Hwang.

Princess Mary Superal made 73, sharing the third with Hwang Min-Jeong from Korea.

Taiwan amateur Yu-Sang HOU made 73, total 4-over-par and ranked 9th, who was current best ranking among all Taiwan players.

Her sister Yu-Chiang HOU made 74, Pei-Wen Hwang made 73, total 150 and both ranked 15th.

Hsuan-Ping Chang had a rough day by 79, total 151 which dropped her ranking from 3rd to 19th. Other 3 Taiwan players Tzu-Han CHEN made 72, Li-Ting Weng and Min-Jou CHEN both made 74, they all shared at 19th.

Yu-Sang HOU shot 2 birdies, 1 bogey and 1 double bogey. First birdie was carried to the hole by accurate wedge and left 6-foot putt; another birdie chipped in from 17 yards away. Bogeys happened from short games mistake at hole 3 and 7, 38-35 to finish the round.

“Irons were great today, but there’s 5 birdie chances that split away from the hole within 6-12 foot.” She had 31 putts today.

Pei-Wen Huang also made 73 by 4 birdies 3 bogeys and 1 double bogey, 37-36 to finish the round.

The leader Hwang Ye-Nah shot 5 birdies and 2 bogeys, 35-34 with 8 shots lead. She could have be the winner tomorrow if no accident.

This is a 3 rounds 54 holes tournament, total prize money US$75000, winner will be awarded US$15,000 and runner-up awarded US$7500. The tournament is held for the third year by TLPGA and LPGT (Ladies Philippine Golf Tour). It’s 2017 TLPGA Tour’s third event and LPGT’s second event of the year.

Final round will tee-off from hole 1 and 10, first group will tee-off at 7am, last group will tee-off at 08:30am.

The cut line set at 15-over-par total 159 after two rounds, and 56 players had made the cut.
